Mather Woods, Let's Hike in the Woods!

STARTING PROMPTLY AT 8:30am!

Fun in the woods!

Might be some muddy terrain, but it also might be frozen!

We will begin the hike promptly at 8:30am by the restrooms (note that they probably won't be open but there is an outhouse a short walk away). We will be on dirt and wood chip trails for most of the time. We may find a little bit of mud. We can check to see if the ravines are navigable, but no worries if someone prefers to skip them as we will only go down the ravine and right back up...not to mention that I am not even sure that I am up for it while my knee is healing. I am expecting to hike for about 4 or 5 miles.

I will be going approximately 3.5-4 mph (slower if we are able to do the ravines and secondary trails), a brisk pace or as fast as changing terrain will allow.

Please bring:
A good attitude
Water
Decent walking shoes, hiking shoes
Dress in comfortable layers and according to the weather forecast
