Birmingham Playtest meetup

Details
Welcome to the Birmingham Playtest UK meetup, hosted at Griffins Gaming in Birmingham city centre (or near enough!).
We have a growing number of board game designers in the Birmingham area who need playtesters for their games. This event is for those designers to get together, along with playtesters, and gather feedback on their latest game designs.
----Who is this event for?----
We welcome anyone to this event:
- If you're a game designer, bring your game designs (see limitations below)
- If you're a board games enthusiast, become a playtester! We really need your help to make our games even better!
----What will happen at the event?----
Board game designers will bring along prototype games at various stages of development, some will be handwritten on cards and scraps of paper and some games will be a little more polished.
Upon arrival, you'll be seated at a playtest table with 2 others. Each person at the table will get 1 hour to playtest their game, and they will also be expected to playtest the games of the other attendees at their table.
Usually, the designer will explain the game rather than ask you to read the rules but this depends on what stage the game is at.
You'll either play the full game or a few rounds depending on what feedback the designer needs and the length of the game.
You'll then be asked what you thought of the game in a short debrief session.
----Game Limitations----
YOU MUST ATTEND THE ENTIRE EVENT (6PM - 9PM) IF YOU WANT YOUR GAME TO BE PLAYTESTED
As we have only 3 hours to playtest, we split game designers into tables of 3 designers per table, and each designer gets 1 hour to playtest their game and gather feedback. If we have playtesters attending who just want to playtest and didn't bring along a game of their own, we may be able to accommodate games with a higher player count or a longer game time, but this cannot be guaranteed as it is entirely dependant on playtesters attending without their own game designs.
----When is this event?----
This meetup happens on the second and final Thursday of every month
