Pleasanton Senior Center - North Parking Lot --->MEET---> 9:15 am --->ROLL---> 9:30 am *Last week's ride (Feb 26) was cancelled at the last minute (8:18am) because a drippy, thick, chilly fog settled in the Pleasanton basin...and even extended into Livermore. A few RSVPs missed the last minute email sent by the Host. Please make sure Meetup [and the Host] have your current email. **With the concurrence of the 3 weather deities (NWS-NOAA-WU) the ride will try again to explore the early Spring bounty:---> Poppies...almond blossoms...snow drops...GBHs...snowy egrets OUT--->*****Pleasanton Senior Center > Old Vineyard > Lake Tr & Cookie Crumb > Hansen > Tesla > Poppy Ridge [coffee break] RETURN---> ditto...about 30+/- miles...short climbs (Hansen-Vasco-Poppy Ridge) ***The Ride Sweep will insure the ride hangs together on this 'easy-peasy' ride. We anticipate 'clothing adjustment stops' and a bathroom/water break at Sycamore Grove/Wetmore. ***Lunch in Pleasanton following the ride for anyone who wishes to join us. Spouses are invited to join for the ride and the lunch afterwards. *******Helmet (& extra tube necessary). The Pedaler's Social Ride is a "NO DROP" group and is electric bike friendly.
