Thursday’s Social Ride - San Ramon Start

On Thursday, May 1st, the San Francisco Opera will be performing La Boheme Out of the Box at 12:30 at the City Center Bishop Ranch shopping area in San Ramon as part of their outreach program. This free performance will include some of the world’s most beautiful music you have heard from perfume commercials to Bugs Bunny cartoons.

We will meet at 9:15 at the SAN RAMON CITY BUILDING, 7000 Bollinger Canyon Rd, San Ramon, CA 94583 and leave at 9:30. We will ride north up the Iron Horse Trail to El Capitan, take a brief detour to the Osage Park Rose Garden then continue on Brookside Drive to the Iron Horse Trail. There will be a break at Peet’s in Alamo Square then return to San Ramon City Center for the opera performance. Those attending may buy lunch at one of the many food outlets at the City Center. If you cannot join us for lunch it is just a short distance to the City Building.
