***Good news--->NOAA is rehiring several hundred critical employees! Good news because they promise significantly lower morning/mid-morning temps for the Pedaler Social Ride on August 14.
****Probable route---SenCenter > Stanley > Cookie Crumb > Sycamore Grove > Tuscany > Vineyard Starbucks
****Summertime-Summertime-Summertime what are you gonna do?...there ain't no cure for the summertime blues but to clean & oil the bike chain. Yes, concentrate on your bike's tantalizing sounds slicing thru the morning air. Stanley & Isabel will prep for the seductive peace of the 'cookie crumb' and Sycamore Grove trails. All this will have you ready for the two short Tuscany climbs...where you--and the other Pedalers--drink in the views across the Tri-Valley!
*****Yes... you’re gonna be ready to ride on the 14th knowing that you’ll find a cure to the summertime blues!

Ride "sweep" will facilitate keeping all on course. Ride will re-group as necessary. Cycling etiquette essential. Pleasanton Senior Center open - bathrooms & water available.

Attendees are limited to 30 who have signed for the ride in advance. Please be sure to bring your helmet, water and a spare tube. No SAG cars provided.
