--->Return to an all time favorite for many Pedalers---->Livermore Tri-Valley "Tuscany" ...Vineyards being harvested... spectacular views across the region ... some climbing, but there is a sweet 'dip & swoop' descent.

**Ride "sweep" will facilitate keeping all on course. Ride will re-group as necessary. Cycling etiquette essential. Pleasanton Senior Center open - bathrooms & water available also at Sycamore Grove..

FLASH-FLASH--->Special Announcement---> Important events coming very soon...October 23 and October 30 -->details below:

A. The first announcement (October 23) is intended to recognize a known/unknown (and unique)l group of avid cyclists! To wit---an unusual number were born in October...or does that mean that their parents were especially active during those chilly nights in February? So be it...the Pedaler ride next week (October 23) will celebrate with a POST RIDE lunch at the home of Steve & Paula McGinnis--1047 Sycamore Creek Way. It's a Fall Celebration of October youngsters. Several cyclists will also be acknowledging an important "pivot point" in life. October birthday Pedalers...this ride is especially for you!
Route for October 23rd: **Following an 'easy-peasy' ride thru "Happy Valley" the ride will finish at the home of Steve & Paula McGinnis for a birthday celebration & LUNCH [1047 Sycamore Creek Way]. Please RSVP to Paula @ 925-209-9833
B. The second announcement (October 30) Pedaler ride will take to the streets of Pleasanton and Livermore and remind young and old residents that the Pedaler social ride will be celebrating the annual arrival of Halloween--which follows the next day. Pedalers will be dressed in spiffy Halloween attire. More info posted next week.

Attendees are limited to 30 who have signed for the ride in advance. Please be sure to bring your helmet, water and a spare tube. No SAG cars provided.
