1/15/26-->A Pedaler ride with multiple clothing adjustments--a SUNSCREEN day

**Should be another spectacular winter day in the Tri-Valley. The key variable that may impact the ride will be if the Greek god of the North Wind --"Boreas" misbehaves. He was a challenge January 8. All signs (NOAA-NWS-WU) suggest Boreas is in full retreat...expect multiple "clothing adjustments" as the ride unfolds. A winter day with sunscreen! Sunshine temps starting in the 40s & finishing in the upper 50s.

First poppy & yellow mustard blooms are in evidence. Ranchers have cows/calves feasting on succulent grasses ...or are they "cow statues placed by the wineries? [And somewhere on Mines Rd the mysterious peacocks might announce themselves.]

Route: SenCenter > Stanley > Isabel Tr > Cookie Crumb > Easy-Peasy Holdener > Mines Rd > RETURN---> Livermore Library for coffee > Marina > Vineyard back to Senior Center --->30+/-miles
*******There will be a no-host luncheon (weather permitting) following the ride for anyone who wishes to join us. Spouses are invited to join us for the ride and the luncheon afterwards.
*******Helmet (& extra tube necessary). The Pedaler's Social Ride is a "NO DROP" group and electric bike friendly. Ride "sweep" will facilitate keeping all on course. Ride will re-group as necessary. Cycling etiquette essential. Pleasanton Senior Center open .

Attendees are limited to 30 who have signed for the ride in advance. Please be sure to bring your helmet, water and a spare tubes. No SAG cars provided.
