Hello First 2026 DST Pedaler Social Ride

**The return of Daylight Savings Time is an oxymoron. "Saving Time?" The vanishing hour has always puzzled. To assuage the grump-a-lots, the Pedalers are moving the Meet/Start times back a bit (15 minutes!) The merging of the time change and an earlier rising sun will need a few more weeks. Until such time the Pedalers can expect a series of 'easy-peasy' rides not exceeding 25 miles...and minimal elevation ascents!

***The last Pacific Standard Time ride on March 5 was highlighted by the Pedalers seeing the TriValley elephant (or some said it was a bear) silhouetted along the ridge line south of Tesla Rd. Do not quibble. We all saw him. Was this a farewell gift from the deities saying "adieu" to Pacific Standard Time?

**ROUTE for March 12--->**watching for definitive signs. (Temps in the upper 70s )from NOAA-WU-NWS. More info posted on Monday or Tuesday.

***Lunch in Pleasanton following the ride for anyone who wishes to join us. Spouses are invited to join for the ride and the lunch afterwards.
*******Helmet (& extra tube necessary). The Pedaler's Social Ride is a "NO DROP" group and is electric bike friendly. Ride "sweep" will facilitate keeping all on course. Ride will re-group as necessary. Cycling etiquette essential. Pleasanton Senior Center open.

**Attendees are limited to 30 who have signed for the ride in advance. Please be sure to bring your helmet, water and a spare tubes. No SAG cars provided.az**
