Yes...3 FLASHES...Heads up...Planning Ahead for Sept 3...
The Alameda Water Shuttle/Wave Oculus is in the repair shop. We are watching closely to see if it will return to service for the Sept 3rd Pedaler Ride
The Oakland-Alameda water shuttle (Woodstock) is out of service for repairs as welders fix a small crack discovered in a bracket above the water line. [1]
Current Status and Timeline

• The Issue: After replacing malfunctioning engines, crews found a small bracket crack above the water line.
• Next Steps: Welders are finishing the repairs.
• Expected Return: Service is anticipated to resume later in the week once the U.S. Coast Guard inspects and approves the completed work. [1, 2]

**Bring your helmet, tube, and water. We anticipate 'clothing adjustment stops' along the way. Restrooms are available at the start (Pleasanton Senior Center).

**The Ride Sweep will ensure that the group remains together. This is a "NO DROP" ride and is e-bike friendly. Cycling etiquette is essential. No SAG cars provided.

**Pedaler Hosts will do their best to accurately (and appropriately) use adjectives like "mellow...affable" when describing the weekly Thursday rides.
Attendees are limited to 30 who have signed for the ride in advance.
