A Valentine Pedaler Ride

Raindrops falling. Currently streets wet & slippery. Stay strong! WU/NOAA/NWS continue to have positive vibes for Feb 12 and predict excellent cycling conditions.

*Of course we know the date is wrong...but it's a date that comes just once a year! The Pleasanton Pedalers are allowed to mess with the calendar and make our upcoming February 12 VALENTINE DAY ride special for all. **Preliminary discussions have indicated a definite(!) interest in a post-ride lunch with Pedalers/spouses/special friends. Wear RED JERSEY if you've got one hanging in the closet. Or....wear a red heart!

Route?? watching weather reports from NOAA-WU-NWS. Initial reports suggest a return to the Westerly wind pattern and lots of sunshine. One suggestion is an 'easy-peasy' ride east on Vineyard to Sycamore Grove Park. Another option might be the Jack London Trail to See's Candy!
***Important Note--->***The Alamo Cr Tr ride to Monarch & Valley View Parks on Feb 5 was a tremendous success. All riders made it up the two short climbs. Sadly... we were disappointed that San Ramon's Peets has closed!
*******Helmet (& extra tube necessary). The Pedaler's Social Ride is a "NO DROP" group and electric bike friendly. Ride "sweep" will facilitate keeping all on course. Ride will re-group as necessary. Cycling etiquette essential. Pleasanton Senior Center open .

Attendees are limited to 30 who have signed for the ride in advance. Please be sure to bring your helmet, water and a spare tubes. No SAG cars provided.
