What we’re about
This is an intentional community and network for BIPOC families who homeschool, unschool, worldschool, etc.
This group holds safe space for BIPOC children and families where our children can honor their humanity, cultivate freedom and interact in a heart-full, heart-first and mindful environment.
Our priorities, as a community, are building community supporting wellness within ourselves and our community; and supporting liberation - mind/body/spirit.
We host community meetups, playdates, field trips, camping trips, potlucks, community meetings and parent support/healing circles. We also encourage members to create and host events as well.
This is a safe space community where you can feel free to show up as you are. Where you are.
This is a safe space for BIPOC families of all backgrounds, orientations, genders, and vaccination statuses. Our children will have the opportunity to interact and learn with kids of all ages who are raised to be kind, loving, and respectful to themselves and others.
We are not religiously based but are rooted in Universal/Spiritual principles such as love, gratitude, humility, compassion, kindness and empathy.
How we work
If you're a member of this group, consider yourself a partner and co-creator. This group is about supporting a democratic, de-centralized process that allows everyone to contribute to our children's learning and experiences. This way, we can honor and support the diversity of ideas and perspectives we all bring to the table.
**If you have interest and capacity to help organize events, please reach out to Moon Vera Cruz here or at MoonVeraCruz@gmail.com.**
