He believes performance carries as much importance on the page as it does off. He has performed all over California and in New York, has been a member of and has coached poetry slam teams galore, and hosts SHOUT! the open mic in Uptown Whittier at Half Off Books.

SHOUT! is a recurring poetry open mic that takes place the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7:30pm. A free event, and has developed quite a following, so get there early to ensure you read before 9:30pm, unless you want to be one of those moonlight poets that helps shut the spot down around 12pm.

Also, due to the occurrence of the Uptown Street Fair from April-Oct, parking may be difficult, but not impossible.
