Poh Ming Tse (PMT) Temple is a Buddhist temple located in the Bukit Timah district of Singapore.
The Chinese name of 'Poh Ming Tse' (普明寺) means 'the temple of illumination', or 'the temple of abundant brightness'.
As a modern temple dedicated to the needs of urban dwellers, PMT offers a peaceful and welcoming environment for all to learn and practise the teachings of the Buddha.
Our vision is to be a non-sectarian platform to support all teachings of the Buddha.
Our mission is to provide a conducive Dharma learning environment through regular, quality Dharma programmes.

These perfections illuminate the Bodhisattva path, offering timeless insights for cultivating compassion, resilience, and clarity in our daily lives. Through understanding and embodying these six qualities, we learn to transcend self-centred limitations and awaken to a life of greater purpose and freedom.

Venerable Tenzin Priyadarshi is a philosopher, educator, and polymath monk. He serves as the President and CEO of the Dalai Lama Center for Ethics and Transformative Values at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Entering monastic life at the age of ten and later completing graduate studies at Harvard University, Venerable Tenzin’s unique background bridges ancient wisdom and modern thought, inspiring audiences worldwide to live with compassion and purpose.Admission: Free (by registration)
