World Water Day, Barnum Park #1
Details
Polar Planet's 2026 trash blitz and community cleanup Call to Action:
Join us this next Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 8am to noon. Please come at anytime during 4 hour event! With the mild winter, we are getting an early spring start, and if you are a walker at Barnum Park, then you know that the Park is in need already!
Join Polar Planet for a hands-on trash blitz and community cleanup focused on Barnum Lake and Barnum Park. We stage ground zero at the Grove St. culdesac. We blitz trash and eliminate litter utilizing trash pickers, buckets and bags to dispose into dumpsters to support urban wildlife conservation and our health. We will also have plenty of waders to do the shoreline and 2 SUP's to do the pond.
This event is perfect for anyone looking to make a positive impact on the local environment and contribute to improving the ambiance of Barnum Park. Polar Planet has been recognized as Denver Parks and Recreation's #1 partner for 2 years in a row! Our grassroots activism expanded this year and we will steward 2 flower beds. So if trash blitzing is too tough, then join us to weed the flowers! Join us to make a difference in your local parks and community!
