Polar Planet's 2026 trash blitz and community cleanup Call to Action: Sandos Park has become a favorite for Polar Planet! Saturday June 6 on World Oceans Day! Please join at anytime during 4 hour event from 8am to noon!
Join Polar Planet for a hands-on trash blitz and community cleanup focused the Weir Gulch stretch in Sandos Park. We stage ground zero right at the softball fields. We trash blitz and eliminate litter utilizing trash pickers, buckets and bags to dispose into dumpsters to support urban wildlife conservation and our health. We will also have plenty of waders to do the shorelines. This event is perfect for anyone looking to make a positive impact on the local environment and contribute to improving the ambiance of Sandos Park.
