Denver Learn Berlin German Slang for Beginners
Details
🍺 Berlin German: Slang & Nightlife – Live on Zoom
No German needed: this is a live beginner class on Zoom, explained in English. Chat in casual du-German, understand Berlin slang, shop at a Späti and get around at night.
In the hour, you'll learn to:
- Make plans to meet friends: when, where, and "I'm in!"
- Buy drinks and snacks at a Späti and pay
- Use common slang, and know when it is too informal
- Greet people the Berlin way and chat using informal du
- Talk politely at a club door and get around on the U-Bahn
Each phrase comes with how to say it and when to use it. Near the end you try it out loud in a breakout room of 2 or 3, and you keep a phrase sheet with a week of practice ideas.
Small group, friendly and practical. Camera optional, nothing recorded.
