Visual Thinking and Doing

Details

In nowadays data-saturated world, we are constantly being surrounded and bombarded with information that influences our way of communicating and ultimately our decision-making. Being able to effectively organize your thoughts and improve your ability to think and communicate is crucial on both a personal and on a professional level. However, how can we make sure to convey our thoughts and ideas in a clear, impactful and engaging way?

Following a a-picture-is-worth-a-thousand-words approach, Visual Thinking (also called visual/spatial learning or picture thinking) is the phenomenon of thinking through visual processing. Using visuals makes information easier to convey, process, and remember. In today’s business world, visualization becomes crucial in the journey of companies seeking to increase enterprise agility, break down silos and facilitate employee and user engagement. Visualization empowers teams to build on one another's ideas, fosters collaboration, jump-starts co-creation and ultimately boosts innovation.

On Wednesday, November 21 we will be exploring this topic through two presentations and a hands-on interactive workshop hosted by wearereasonablepeople. This session aims to provide you with the right mindset and skills to apply Visual Thinking to your daily work.

During this session you will be able to deep-dive into the creative process and the advantageous use of visualization techniques, as well as the shaping and evolution of ideas through visual design. Furthermore, you will also learn about tips and tricks that can support your visual thinking and doing. The session will end with some drinks and snacks during which you can mingle with your fellow creatives, the speakers and the organization team!
