🌊 Join Us for the April Adopt A Highway Cleanup! 🌍
Location not specified yetCome help cleanup along HWY 421! This location is on the way to the New Hanover County Landfill and is in desperate need of a cleanup. When trash is not tied down properly, this can cause debris to be strewn on the road way. This is not only bad for the environment, but can also be a hazard for motorists.
For this event, we will have some volunteers will help focus on removing debris from North Terminal Road.Since 2020, Plastic Ocean Project has removed 12,675.67 pounds of trash from this stretch of Highway 421, resulting in the planting of 507 trees through our Trees4Trash program.
