- Group Activity: Porthole of the Sea Locket making. These lockets contain ocean plastics. The lockets made during the event can either go towards POP's shop or volunteers can purchase a locket.

Third Annual Trash'n Fash'n Show
When: June 1st, 2024, from 6pm to 8pm

Support the high school students who have organized this event in order to help bring awareness to the community about general wasting habits. Create an amazing outfit made of recycled/reused materials and show it off at the beautiful gardens at the New Hanover County Arboretum. Attendees please bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on!
Trash'n Fash'n 2024 will be ocean/nautical themed!
Designers of all ages will have the opportunity to model their fashions made out of repurposed materials like old fabrics, vintage clothing from thrift stores, plastics, and other single use materials like paper, etc.
