The Zing Factor - Using Props to Enhance your Speech

Details

Remember that old saying, 'a picture is worth a thousand words'? Learning how to use props or visual aids effectively and appropriately is one of the best gifts you can give yourself as a speaker. They add the 'zing' factor for your audience, making your speech memorable. Props can be a godsend for a speaker or they can be a deadly trap.

Props help you to be clearer and more credible. You can reduce the number of words you use to explain a concept or event and you become more believable through your audience seeing something to reinforce your words.

Tonight at Port Melbourne Toastmasters, you will learn how to add interest, humour and variety to your presentations, and avoid the pitfalls of props.
