Figure and Fashion with Lur

Join me for a three-hour small-group photoshoot exploring the intersection of figure and fashion. This Meetup is designed for photographers who want to work with the human form in an expressive, artistic way while incorporating styling, texture, and visual storytelling.

We’ll be working with Lur, a thoughtful and creative model with a strong sense of presence and collaboration. Follow her on Instagram. The session will move between figure-focused setups using bodysuits and simple props, and more styled wardrobe looks that introduce fashion, mood, and narrative into the frame. The emphasis throughout will be on line, shape, gesture, and intention, rather than literal or posed imagery.

The shoot will be broken into several distinct sets, each with its own visual direction and lighting approach. This gives you the chance to explore different aesthetics, experiment with composition, and come away with a varied body of work for your portfolio.

As always, this is a supportive, judgment-free environment. Whether you’re newer to working with models or more experienced, the goal is to take creative risks, refine your visual language, and explore how subtle choices in styling, distance, and lighting shape the viewer’s response. I’ll be there to help guide the flow and support the creative process.

We’ll be shooting in a studio setting using controlled lighting. Bring your camera, a memory card, and a fully charged battery. I'll take care of the lighting and provide everything you need.

This is a small group shoot limited to four photographers to ensure everyone gets meaningful shooting time during each set.
