Holiday Gathering 2025 & Book Exchange!

We have a reservation for 20 of us at Maine Beer Company, post-hike after Wolfe’s Neck. This will be our “holiday party that’s not really a holiday party” 😊 Hike first if you wish, then swap into your favorite holiday sweater and come BE MERRY with us! 🎉

The party theme? Glad you asked! It’s Icelandic Book Exchange! We are borrowing parts of this tradition and each attendee should bring a book, (used is preferred) something you have read AND loved! You are giving something special as a gift to spread joy - no encyclopedias or car manuals!

The book should be wrapped and instead of signing the gift, please write something to the “unknown reader” in the front or back pages. One or two lines about the book, about you, or holiday sentiment. Signing your name is optional.

If you end up on the waitlist, Maine Beer Co is a large, public place. You can probably come and just find another table and we will all come by and visit/mingle! 🎄🎅🏻🤶🏻⛪️
