What makes friendship valuable? A small philosophy discussion
Details
When does an acquaintance become a friend—and what makes that friendship worth having?
Join Portland Philosophy Table for 90 minutes of thoughtful conversation about friendship: what makes it valuable, and whether we can deliberately cultivate it without forcing it. Expect concrete examples, friendly disagreement, and room for everyone to contribute. Newcomers are welcome; no philosophy background or reading is needed.
