Welcome to our Procreate & Digital Art Group at Hipbone Art Studio!

We are a new Meetup group that will be getting together (in-person) one Tuesday a month to connect and share knowledge about Procreate and digital art. Best of all, during each session we will be drawing from a live model! Models will be nude as well as costumed.
This is a supportive and inclusive environment, and whether you are a complete beginner in digital art, a power user or somewhere in between- you are welcome here!
Doors open at 5:45pm with some time allowed to get settled in and meet everyone. At this time we will also be doing demos, share best practices and suggestions so you can get the most out of the session.
Timed poses with the model on stage begin at 6:30 starting with short, 3 minute poses and working our way up to 15 minute poses. Our first break is at 7:30 when you can walk around, mingle and compare notes. The evening continues with three longer 30 minute poses with breaks in between until 9pm.
(You dont have to stay till 9pm, it is a school night after all!)
Unlike other sessions at Hipbone, this one is specifically formatted for Procreate and digital drawing. You will need have your own iPad or other device, digital pencil and the drawing app downloaded already.
We are also happy to provide some instruction and feedback on drawing if requested.
This is a paid event with a fee of $18 to cover model and venue expenses. We also encourage everyone to tip our model!
Great music will be played on our turntable!
PARKING IS FREE in our large lot!
