Details

Watch some 90 films of all genres including world premieres of independent film: features, documentaries, animation, thrillers, mental health, LGBTQ+, student and local Portland film. Many of the directors and filmmakers will be in attendance!

The Portland Film Festival is one of Oregon’s premier festivals, named “one of the coolest film festivals in the world,” by MovieMaker Magazine. Last year, the Festival’s Future Filmmakers Program story was nominated for an Emmy. It is a non-profit, year-round organization dedicated to nurturing filmmakers and audiences by celebrating the power of stories and the city of Portland.

This year the entire festival will be held over 5 days at McMenamins Kennedy School. Screenings in the big theater plus two more theater spaces. Events and parties will be in the gym and in individual rooms.

You can see individual films for $8 each through Portland Film Festival's website or from McMenamins.

Buy tickets and passes for Portland Film Club Meetup members and their guests are welcome.

Food and drink are available for purchase in the Kennedy School Theater lounge with tabled seating in the theater or at the various bars and the restaurant at Kennedy School. The converted elementary school is amazing with original artwork and historical photographs covering the walls/ceilings/doorways/hallways. Available free parking in the lot but come early or park on the street in this neighborhood.
