  • Let’s arrive by 9:00am to setup shuttles.

[See Photo Below of proposed route]
Start @ Green @ Port of Camas
End @ Red @ Vancouver Park

We’ll do about~10 miles, navigate the Camas slough, return to the Columbia, and then land on a sandy beach of Tri-Club Island, have a lunch/picnic, and then continue to park ~5 more miles.

We are going WITH the flow of the river, and the tide will me mildly with us.

This will be a longer than some of our other paddles.
Somewhat faster kayaks, and/or a bit of paddling strength & stamina are recommended for this paddle. We will need to at least keep a moderate pace. Feel free to post any questions you may have about this, or message me.

We love when you bring friends but they do need to sign up individually so they agree to the terms and conditions as this is an active event that has risks and hosts / organizers are only volunteers with no experience or specific training.

Please support our group and consider making a small $10 donation once per season to support the annual meetup expenses and other costs. Cash or venmo donation @Portland-Kayaking to pay for gas, equipment, organizing, safety, instruction, etc.
