Posh Plates & Conversations Ladies Dinner Club

Posh Plates & Conversations Ladies' Dinner Club is a fun and fabulous dining group for women around 45+ (with some flexibility!). We meet monthly in the evenings to enjoy great food, lively conversation, and explore some of Calgary’s best restaurants—mixing trendy spots, new finds, and old favourites!

The goal of the group is to make new friends and share conversations about work, family, life, hormones (yes, we’ll go there!), and more. We’re all about bringing together like-minded, open-minded, inclusive, supportive, and welcoming women. We aim to create a positive, drama-free space where everyone can enjoy themselves.

Since we’ll be dining in inner Calgary, there may be paid parking or street parking, and some venues will likely add automatic gratuity to the bill. Some events will require a small deposit to secure your spot, which will be reimbursed at dinner. Come for the food, stay for the friendships, and make every dinner a night to remember!

RSVPs Will Now Open Two Weeks Before Each Event
This will help everyone commit more confidently. It keeps the date fresh in mind, allows members to better gauge their availability, and gives more people a fair opportunity to attend when they see the RSVP opening date and can mark their calendars.
New: Last-Minute Cancellation Rule
If you cancel under the 48-hour mark more than once or become a frequent last-minute changer:

• You will be moved to the waitlist for future events you have RSVP’d to
• You will only get a spot if one opens after the event fills
• If this pattern continues, you will be temporarily removed from the group

We understand that things happen from time to time and last-minute changes are sometimes unavoidable. This rule is for repeat offenders. Reminder: 48 hours’ notice is one of the rules agreed to when joining the group.
Existing Rule (agreed to when joining)
If you no-show without notice, you will be temporarily removed from the group. You are welcome to rejoin when you are able to commit more consistently. Sadly, we recently had five no-shows at one event. We waited for them to arrive, and the restaurant had set aside space and scheduled staff to accommodate our group. This was unfair to us, to the restaurant, and to the members who did attend.
We’ve created this group to be easygoing, inclusive, and fun. We put a lot of time and care into organizing these dinners, and your cooperation helps keep them enjoyable and fair for everyone.
