Adelaide's Postgres community is back for round two! After a great first meetup in July, we're getting together again for an evening of PostgreSQL talks, food, and networking.
⏰ New this time - an earlier start. We're trialling a 4pm start so you can drop in before the end of the workday. On the day, tell us how the timeslot works for you.

Talk 1 (20 min) - "Lane Keep Assist for Postgres — Silent plan drift: Automatically catch, prove & fix - All Live!" – Robins Tharakan
- Description: Nobody watches query plans anymore. This talk demos an air-gapped workload, where I break a Postgres workload, an AI agent would root-cause slowness, proves each fix on a throwaway clone before recommending it. All offline! Time-permits, we'll also compare notes with Cloud AI models.
Talk 2 (30 min) - "PostgreSQL as a Scaffolding for Agentic AI Apps " - Shadab Mohammad, Oracle
- Description: Agentic AI needs more than an LLM - it needs trusted data, memory, and guardrails. Shadab shows how PostgreSQL delivers all three via pgvector, full-text search, JSONB, row-level security, transactions, and MCP. A live demo traces "Find the refund policy for this order and open a support case," exposing the SQL at every step.
