SPECIAL Meeting ... Nepal ... May 2024 Gathering & Potluck

I had the distinct pleasure of visiting Nepal and One Heart Worldwide on a Together Women Rise trip in 2022.

It will be my honor to treat you to a delicious meal of my favorite dishes I enjoyed while there, and ones I have made several times since I have bee home.

I have first-hand knowledge and experience to share with you ... photos, etc. It was so inspiring to see what the organization does to assist women in remote regions with their maternal needs/birthing centers.

Save the date! We'll be learning about the country of NEPAL, the grantee One Heart Worldwide, sharing a potluck, and helping advance gender equality!

At the end of the gathering, everyone contributes something toward Together Women Rise to fund future grantees. Mission of One Heart Worldwide

One Heart Worldwide’s mission is to save the lives and promote the well-being of mothers and their newborns in underserved areas of rural Nepal.

Summary
One Heart Worldwide works to save the lives and promote the wellbeing of mothers and their newborns in underserved areas of rural Nepal. This project expands the Simulation-Based Mentorship Program for maternal and newborn health (MNH) providers, resulting in a stronger and more equitable health system for women and, ultimately, a reduction in adverse outcomes for mothers and their newborns.

Why We Love This
We love this because One Heart Worldwide is transforming maternal and neonatal healthcare across rural Nepal. Its programs are highly regarded. Since 2010, One Heart Worldwide programs have impacted over 1 million mothers and newborns throughout 32 districts of Nepal.
