A Different Date
Details
A Different Date is an educational discussion event developed from the Practical Psychology Club. It offers you a chance to understand yourself better while meeting other singles who are also looking for a meaningful relationship.
Important criteria:
- Openness, curiosity, and a willingness to know yourself better while connecting with others through meaningful conversations.
- A moderated discussion based on open-ended questions and reflective insights.
First session
Subject: Who Am I in a Relationship? - Would I date somebody like myself?
- Understanding ourselves before looking for the right partner.
Part 1 – Expectations and Positioning
- What do I hope to find in a relationship?
- Do I see love primarily as an exchange ("What do I get?") or as something we create together?
- Am I looking for someone who completes me, complements my weaknesses, or someone with whom I can grow?
Part 2 – Looking Back
- Did I feel loved during my childhood? In which moments?
- Have I learned that love is unconditional, or have I experienced it as something conditional? How it affects my life now?
Part 3 – My Inner Relationship Blueprint
- How, and through whose example, did I build my vision of an ideal relationship?
- Is that vision still relevant and helps me today?
- What kind of family life do I dream of?
Final Reflection
- If the person you are today walked into this room as a stranger, would you want to date that person? Why or why not?
- Am I becoming the kind of person I would love to meet?
This is an educational activity, not a speed-dating event or matchmaking service. The aim is to promote self-awareness and authentic connections with other singles.
I initiate it for free (donation based for the first few occasions) to test the concept.
I look forward to meeting you!
