A Lesson of Break up
Details
## THE LESSONS OF A BREAKUP
### What can I take with me into my next relationship?
- What positive things did I learn about myself from this relationship?
- What positive things did I learn from or about the other person?
- What did this relationship teach me about my boundaries?
- Could I have recognized the problems or red flags earlier?
- Have I healed my wounds, or am I hoping that someone else will heal them for me?
- What conflicts did we have, why did they arise, and how could I have handled them better? Were they about the actual problem – or about ego?
- How have my feelings and reactions to the breakup changed over time? What did I feel initially – and what do I feel now?
- What was hardest for me to let go of: the person, the relationship, the shared life, or the future I had imagined?
- Looking back, were there things I ignored, accepted or explained away that I would recognize differently today?
- What responsibility can I take for my part in the relationship – without taking responsibility for the other person's choices?
- What patterns or dynamics do I not want to repeat?
- Has the breakup changed what I look for in a future partner? If so, how?
- How am I evolving as a person because of this experience?
- What can I do differently in my next relationship because of what I know now?
### Final reflection
If this relationship was a chapter in my life rather than the whole story, what was the lesson of that chapter?
What am I grateful to take with me – and what am I ready to leave behind?
See you there,
Vilija
