About us

Tai Chi is a gentle mind–body practice that focuses on breathing, awareness, and inner balance. Often compared to yoga, Tai Chi is especially beneficial for seniors because it helps improve balance, flexibility, and overall strength as we age. Through slow, intentional movements, we learn to breathe in positive energy (“chi”) and release tension and negativity.
My journey with Tai Chi began in childhood, learning from my grandfather. I stepped away during high school and didn’t return until 35 years later—something I truly wish I hadn’t paused. Today, I am fortunate to learn from two masters in Wudang Tai Chi and Yang-style Tai Chi. I also hold a coaching license from Beijing Sport University, earned through formal training and examination at one of the most respected martial arts institutions.
This group is designed especially for beginners who want to explore Tai Chi in a relaxed, supportive environment. These sessions are not focused on martial arts training, but rather on improving breathing, enhancing flexibility, and building core strength through mindful movement.
All you need is basic health and a bit of patience. Age doesn’t matter—just come with an open mind. Tai Chi is practiced very slowly, so for these 30 minutes, set aside the busyness of life and simply be present in the flow.
Please note: This session is offered free of charge. Because I am also teaching an in-person class at the same time, online participants may receive limited individual attention. If you are interested in more personalized guidance, private lessons are available for a small fee—feel free to reach out to discuss.
