Practise Speaking English - Casual Chat (paranormal/mysterious phenomena)

NOTE: This is a physical, face-to-face meeting, not an online meeting. Due to COVID restrictions, only a maximum of 5 people can join this meetup.

REGISTRATION:

Due to very limited slots (4 only), all registrants must provide mobile no. upon registration, and a whatsapp message will be sent to all registrants. Registration is only confirmed when the registrant replies in confirmation.

This session will be a casual chat session about any strange or unexplainable phenomenon you encountered or you heard about, e.g. ghosts, dreams, or UFOs. Or if you do not believe any of these are true, you can also explain why.

If time permits, we can also discuss some conspiracy theories e.g. September 11, Moon Landing, COVID19, Fluoridation, Illuminati, Pyramids, Tesla

DISCLAIMER: People with any sort of beliefs are welcome to join this event. The organiser of this event has not encountered any paranormal events himself, so the purpose of this event is not to try to influence anybody's beliefs. The purpose of this event is purely to spark lively and engaging conversations in English. Participants can be either English learners or people who are just interested in the topic.

The venue for the event will be near City Hall MRT, at WeWork Beach Centre, Room 2A, level 2.

Landmark - Raffles Hotel. If you can't find the venue, look for Raffles Hotel. WeWork is a separate building beside Raffles Hotel.

Check in as a guest of "Boon" at the counter when you arrive.
Please bring along a photo ID.

The facilitator of the discussion is Mr Boon, a former English Language Lecturer at NUS CELC (Centre for English Language Communication). Boon is currently working as the managing editor of Boon Editing (see www.boonedit.com)
