Well, hello there!
You seem to have stumbled upon this group that's apparently got something to do with art (what even is that,right?) and people, who are interested in it. Are you one of those too?
If so, welcome!
If not, but would like to be, then hello to you too, come take a seat and see if you like what's going on.
What I'd like to attempt to do here, is to gather people, who don't particularly have to have an art history degree (it's no problem if you do as well) or know the name of every impressionist painter that ever existed out there. But are simply interested. Intrigued. Asking themselves and the world - what even is art? Who gets a say in that? Do I? - Yes, you probably do. And perhaps entertaining the thought of possibly creating something themselves, if there ever happened to be enough time, a good opportunity, inspiration, a reason(?) and some skill? (don't let that last point frighten you)
If that sounds like an accurate description of You, then you have probably come to the right place. Or one of the right places, I suppose. This is a group for people, who would like to get together to do various things that have something to do with art. Such as: visiting art galleries and art related events, discussing art, taking part in small art projects, acknowledging the different forms of art that are out there, trying to understand them and possibly getting inspired to create something themselves.
Skill is not required, perfect art knowledge isn't either. Mostly pure interest, enthusiasm, openness and a bit of commitment is.
