Nuns with Buns

In this session we will discuss the latest novel The Secret of Secrets by American author Dan Brown, a mystery thriller set in Prague. The book was released in September 2025, and follows the adventures of Robert Langdon. We will have a short introduction followed by a simple exercise and sharing of opinions. Before the session, please prepare answers to two tasks:

• Please prepare one fact about the book/writing of the book or the author that surprised you.
• Please bring one confusing moment from the book that you didn’t understand, or would like to clarify with others.

Join our discussion about the most prominent conspiracy theories. Either you’d like to debunk them or provide reasons for agreeing with them, we’d like to hear you! I’ve been arguing with my colleague Giuseppe at the office for three years now trying to prove him that the Moon landing did happen. After three years and his constant speculations, I hardly believe in it anymore. Still, I am pro science and he questions it, so I decided to bring us two and invite more curious people in to discuss pros and cons of the legitimacy of those theories.

We will talk respectfully about:

• the before mentioned Moon landing;
• dinosaurs’ existence;
• flat Earth;
• 9/11 “Inside Job”;
• Epstein’s death/Deep state.

For each of the topic, please bring your opinion backed by facts that you would like to present to the group. Also, please bring your respect to people who think differently from you.
