Start your Memorial Day Weekend of right with a Contra Dance! - Friday, May 23rd.

No partner required. Contra Dance is very beginner friendly! You do not need to know fancy footwork in advance. If you can walk in time to music and count to 8, you should be good to go. Come join us - and bring a friend!

6:45ish: Warmup refresher / Beginners lesson
7:00-9:30: Dance
$10 cash or Venmo at the door / $5 Students / Kids are free

Bring a snack to share if you want. You may also want to bring water to drink.

Location note: PEACE MEMORIAL CITY AUDITORIUM
Address is 1101 POYNTZ AVE (just south of City Park), but the parking lot and entrance to the auditorium is in the back at the corner of 11th Street and Houston.
