Learn about the Goodnow family and the holiday traditions of early Territorial Kansas. Let the soft glow of candlelight, uplifting carols, and a message of peace usher us into the holiday season.
The guided candlelight tours will be taking place at the Goodnow House State Historic Site at 2301 Claflin Rd. in Manhattan, KS
At the same time, the Riley County Historical Museum at 2309 Claflin Rd. will be hosting an open-house, complete with hands-on activities, hot cider and sweet treats. and there will be a holiday sale going on in the museum gift shop. Bring the whole family out for an afternoon of holidav cheer
