For more than seven decades, Terry Tibando has lived at the intersection of personal UFO experience, citizen investigation, and the search for extraterrestrial intelligence. His interest began in childhood with an unusual daytime UFO sighting and what he describes as an extraordinary encounter while living on a Canadian military base in Québec. Those early experiences would eventually lead him into a lifelong exploration of the UFO phenomenon, studies in astronomy and the sciences, and more than three decades coordinating CSETI Vancouver CE-5 fieldwork devoted to attempts at peaceful human-initiated contact.

In this episode, Terry joins us to discuss his ambitious six-volume series, A Citizen’s Disclosure on UFOs and ETI, which brings together decades of research into UFO sightings, alleged extraterrestrial contact, government secrecy, covert programs, communication with non-human intelligence, and the continuing public debate surrounding disclosure. Mr. Terry Tibando
Terry Tibando is a Canadian UFO and extraterrestrial intelligence researcher, author, lecturer, and longtime CE-5 field coordinator whose involvement with the phenomenon spans more than seven decades.
Terry’s interest in UFOs began in childhood. He recalls witnessing a daytime flying saucer with his mother near a military air force facility, followed by what he describes as an encounter with extraterrestrial beings while living on an RCAF military base in St-Jean, Québec, in 1953. These early experiences had a profound influence on his lifelong interest in UFOs, extraterrestrial intelligence, consciousness, and the possibility of human-initiated contact.

He later attended the University of Victoria, where he studied astronomy, physics, mathematics, and the sciences. He has drawn on both his academic interests and personal experiences in his ongoing investigation of UFOs and alleged extraterrestrial contact.
For the past 34 years, Terry has served as Coordinator of CSETI Vancouver CE-5, leading numerous field expeditions involving groups seeking to establish peaceful contact and communication with extraterrestrial intelligence using CE-5 protocols. Based on his experiences, Terry believes that intentional contact may be possible for individuals and groups willing to approach the phenomenon with focused awareness and peaceful intent.

In September 2001, Terry organized and hosted what he describes as Canada’s first Witness Disclosure Conference on UFOs and ETI, featuring speakers including Dr. Steven Greer, Dr. Carol Rosin, and Dr. Alfred L. Webre, with members of the news media in attendance.
Over the years, Terry has participated in numerous media interviews, conferences, podcasts, and public speaking engagements in Canada and internationally.
