Bike & Hike the new Storm Trails

This time we'll ride in from the Peavine South parking lot, about 1.5 miles to the new bike rack at the entrance to Easter Island trail. Then we'll explore some of the storm trails including the Rumble, Splash and Tenille trails. Lots of rocky "ups and downs" but I anticipate it will be a relatively short hike, probably about 3 miles depending on how much exploring we want to do.

For the ride, I recommend a bike with either mountain or "hybrid" tires at least 1.5" wide (I have seen people ride this trail on road bikes, but do so at your own risk). Also a bike lock is mandatory! A helmet is also recommended but up to you depending on your skill level on the bike.
We are starting early to avoid the mid-morning heat, as much of the hike is not shaded. As always, bring sufficient water to stay hydrated.

Let's meet at 6:30 am at the Peavine Trail South parking lot off of Sundog Ranch Road (across from the Yavapai Humane Society). There is a $3 fee to park.
