Centennial Trail - 4 Miles

Details
This is one of the annual "Hiking Spree" hikes for 2025.
Centennial is one of the "in town" trails in Prescott. It's about 2 miles in each direction, primarily uphill with about a 470 ft. elevation gain (which means the return direction is mostly downhill!). There's a bit of rock scrambling within the first 1/2 mile, so it's considered to be a "moderate" difficulty. At the top of the trail there's a large rock outcropping with some interesting petroglyphs at the top if you can find them!
Directions: From Courthouse Plaza, drive west out of Prescott on Gurley St to Gail Gardner, then north on Gail Gardner to Westridge Dr, about 1 mile. The trailhead is a dirt lot on the north side of Westridge about .2 miles after the turn.
If you complete, or attempt, 8 of the 10 Hiking Spree hikes listed by the Highland Center you will be eligible to enter the raffle for a gift card from the Hike Shack in downtown Prescott. For more details click here:
