What we’re about

Pickleball for Peace: A Movement for Mental Health, Connection, and Social Change
Who We Are: Helpers, Not an Organization
We’re not a company. We’re not a nonprofit. We’re not a bureaucracy. We’re just people — Helpers. No one’s in charge and everyone’s an equal. We come together under the simple banner of WE: neighbors, friends, parents, kids, elders, and everyone in between. If you’re here, you’re a part of it. Experience us and see what’s possible when nobody’s jockeying for power, and everyone’s just here to help.

Our philosophy? This isn’t a dog-eat-dog world. No more “kill or be killed” — we’re herbivores, here to nibble, not bite. We want a city, a world, where peace and prosperity aren’t just words, but daily reality. We’re starting in the Presidio, right here in San Francisco, and we’re inviting everyone along for the ride.

The Common Bond: Pickleball
Pickleball isn’t just a sport. It’s a bridge. It’s a reason for strangers to laugh together, for parents and kids to reconnect, for police to meet the people they serve as equals, not adversaries. It’s a way to turn San Francisco into the friendliest, most welcoming city on earth — and yes, that means more visitors, more joy, and a boost for every local business.

We’re gathering real data to show Netflix and the world that what’s happening here could be the next “Friends”: a new kind of show, a new kind of movement. Imagine “Pickleball Friends” — only everyone’s invited, and the stakes are life and death.

Why? Because Our Problems Are Real
We’re not here for just fun (though there’s plenty of that). We’re here to tackle:

Suicide Prevention
Mental Health
Bringing Police and Public Together
Drug Addiction
Hate and Violence
Homelessness
Job Loss and Economic Stress
We’re not asking for luxury. We’re demanding a space — a big, affordable, multi-purpose facility with courts, conference rooms, lounges, small businesses, dating kiosks, health orgs, and more. A central station for real connection. Easy to build, easy to run. A place where anyone can walk in and get help, find a friend, or just play.

How It Works
Physical activity is just the start. On our courts, psychologists watch how kids and parents play together, spotting problems before they explode. Police drop their guard and join the game. People who never would’ve spoken end up laughing side-by-side. We take the fear out of learning, the shame out of asking for help, and make every meeting a warm, welcoming experience.

You can see someone’s life in the way they play. We use that — not to judge, but to help. Every point, every rally, is a chance to check in, to notice, to care.

More Than Pickleball
This is about preparing for the future. Tech job loss? Bulk-buying and barter? We’ve got you. We’re transparent, grassroots, and ready to show the world how real democracy — and real compassion — can work. We believe the next generation can do better, and we’re here to help them lead.

We’re reaching out — in the streets, in political offices, in every corner of San Francisco. We’re collecting stories, data, and proof that this works. And when you see the smiles, hear the laughter, and look at the numbers, you’ll understand why we believe in this so fiercely.

The Experience
You’ll never feel more equal, more respected, more at home than on our courts. No pretension, no posturing. Just people, fun, admiration, and a sense that maybe, just maybe, we can fix what’s broken.

Would you like to partner with us? To help build a movement that makes life better for everyone — not with fancy talk, but with paddles, nets, and a daily dose of joy? We have the data. We have the stories. We have a simple plan: bring people together, and let the healing begin.

What We Need
A facility: big, open, affordable — concrete floors, nets, rooms for talking, spaces for businesses and health orgs.
Local government support, transparency, and partnership
Philanthropic investment: help us build, then step back and let the people run it
Partners: tech, healthcare, nonprofits, business owners, anyone who wants to help
Media: help us show the world what’s possible
The Ask
We’re not just solving problems — we’re building something beautiful. A place where laughter drowns out loneliness. Where “us vs. them” turns into “WE.” Where everyone, rich or poor, young or old, can show up, play, and be seen.

Partner with us. Bring your resources, your connections, your hope. Let’s make San Francisco the city that taught the world how to heal.
