Welcome Presto Community!!
Presto (https://prestodb.io) is a distributed SQL engine for processing very large data sets stored across potentially different storage systems. Our goal is to come together as a community to connect with each other, share experiences and learnings, and discuss the various challenges we have to address our different use cases.

Introducing Presto C++ Runtime Metrics with Prometheus

Karteek Murthy, Software Engineer at IBMRecently we’ve added support in Presto C++ for Prometheus Reporter using the prometheus-cpp library. This allows for capture of Presto C++ runtime metrics and exposes them to a Prometheus Time series database. In this session Deepak and Karteek will share more context and dive into the architectural and implementation details of this.
