We’re kicking off our monthly virtual meetups with an update on our newest release Presto 0.285, followed by an introduction to the new Presto JS Client built by the Bhuma team.

Presto JS Client: Streamline your Presto queries from JavaScript
Session details: Learn how to run your Presto queries from Node or any JS application in a federated and simple way using the official Presto JS client. In this talk Alonso will give an overview of the client including architecture, implementation, and use cases. He'll also cover some of the motivations for building the JS client and contributing it back to the Presto OS community.
