What we’re about
Welcome to Pride Adventures (Victoria)!
We organise a variety of LGBTQ+ friendly activities and trips for members to connect, have fun, and make new friends.
The idea is simply to provide our community (and friends) a welcoming platform to meet like minded people in a relaxed environment whilst having the opportunity to enjoy the best of what Victoria offers.
Most activities are centred around my love of bushwalking and just getting out into the wonderful outdoors, but we will be hosting general social events and are always open to suggestions.
Events will cater for people of varying fitness levels from those that just want to enjoy a gentle social walk to those that want to combine the social aspect with building their fitness levels and taking on a challenge!
Carefully read the event description to understand if the posted event is right for you or simply ask the organiser of the event.
What's the cost ?
Events are free unless there are entry fees or other expenses that require payment.
Is transport provided ?
Those attending events will be required to arrange their own transport to the meeting point.
We are always keen where possible for those with transport to offer a ride to others in order to do our bit for the environment but also give those without transport the opportunity to attend events. (to allow for this we use a simple carpooling website - just follow the link on the event description)
Why am I on the waitlist for an event?
In the interest of safety and in some cases to minimise the impact on the environment, hike leaders will often nominate an attendee limit for the event. If the limit has been reached, you're still welcome to join the waitlist and simply keep checking to see if a space has become free.
What if I can’t come to an event anymore?
Please change your RSVP to ‘Not going’ even if you’re currently on the waitlist.
A no-show policy applies to all events, so if you’re a confirmed attendee but can no longer come, please contact the hike leader as early as possible to avoid being marked as a no-show. (3 no shows and you will not be able to attend future event in fairness to all those in the group)

Enjoy a sleep in, and a good walk! Today you get to do both with a leisurely 10.30am start and a good walk on the Maribyrnong trail.
An easy stroll today, over approximately 8-10 km, around a section of the Maribyrnong river. Dogs are allowed on lead around the river, but (depending on how many doggies join us) we will be roaming into any of the off-lead doggie play parks at Aberfeldie, Footscray Park or Chiefly Drive Reserve.
We’ll take our time strolling the loop circuit, and work up an appetite before we take a short drive (for anyone who wants to join in a group lunch) at the ‘famous’ Angler’s Tavern, in their dog-friendly Upper Beer Garden. With a location right up high on the river, the Angler’s has a notorious reputation for getting flooded anytime the Maribyrnong overflows its banks, but it gives great lunchtime water views and a hearty pub lunch. (Reservations will be required so i’ll have to confirm your attendance for lunch. Ill message participants individually to confirm.)

- Creswick Adventure - 19km Easy to ModerateHammon Park Recreation Reserve - Creswick, Creswick
Grade: Easy to Moderate
Total Elevation Gain: 443m
Distance: 19 km
Pace: Moderate (4.5km PH)
Meeting Point: Hammon Park Oval Creswick
Host Contact Number: 0401498263A great autumn hike starting in the pretty township of Creswick and combining some of the famous Goldfields Track and two of the region's beautiful lakes.
This is a reasonably easy 19km hike with no major climbs, just a few smaller hills but will include a little bush bashing and some walking on narrow single track.
Small sections of the track are also used by mountain bikers but hopefully not too many around. This picturesque hike will take us through the Creswick Pine Plantation (the land of a million Christmas trees) , a beautiful oak plantation and some stunning native gum forests.
We will also hike around two very pretty bodies of water, being St Georges Lake and the Cosgrave Reservoir. Both home to a large range of bird life.
We will then head slowly back to the start through the historic township before heading to the Hotel for a late lunch (optional)
Again not a difficult hike but is a bit adventurous in places. For more details on the route we are taking please see the link below.
