What we’re about
Welcome to Pride Adventures (Victoria)!
We organise a variety of LGBTQ+ friendly activities and trips for members to connect, have fun, and make new friends.
The idea is simply to provide our community (and friends) a welcoming platform to meet like minded people in a relaxed environment whilst having the opportunity to enjoy the best of what Victoria offers.
Most activities are centred around my love of bushwalking and just getting out into the wonderful outdoors, but we will be hosting general social events and are always open to suggestions.
Events will cater for people of varying fitness levels from those that just want to enjoy a gentle social walk to those that want to combine the social aspect with building their fitness levels and taking on a challenge!
Carefully read the event description to understand if the posted event is right for you or simply ask the organiser of the event.
What's the cost ?
Events are free unless there are entry fees or other expenses that require payment.
Is transport provided ?
Those attending events will be required to arrange their own transport to the meeting point.
We are always keen where possible for those with transport to offer a ride to others in order to do our bit for the environment but also give those without transport the opportunity to attend events. (to allow for this we use a simple carpooling website - just follow the link on the event description)
Why am I on the waitlist for an event?
In the interest of safety and in some cases to minimise the impact on the environment, hike leaders will often nominate an attendee limit for the event. If the limit has been reached, you're still welcome to join the waitlist and simply keep checking to see if a space has become free.
What if I can’t come to an event anymore?
Please change your RSVP to ‘Not going’ even if you’re currently on the waitlist.
A no-show policy applies to all events, so if you’re a confirmed attendee but can no longer come, please contact the hike leader as early as possible to avoid being marked as a no-show. (3 no shows and you will not be able to attend future event in fairness to all those in the group)

See all- Blackwood to O'Briens Crossing Loop - 22 km (Moderate)Blackwood Resurrection, Blackwood
## Grade: Moderate to Challenging
Total Elevation Gain: 614m
Distance: 22 km
Pace: Moderate (4.5km PH)
Meeting Point:Blackwood Hotel
Host Contact Number: 0401498263A Moderate hike with a total of 614 meters elevation, so a couple of solid hills to climb and a couple of sections of overgrown track but nothing we can not handle!
We will met at the tiny and historic gold mining town of Blackwood with its wonderful gold rush era buildings that sits at the northern end of the Lerderderg State Park.
From there we will head into the park and follow the Lerderderg track and the Tunnel tracks to the well known O'Briens Crossing.
Following a break here we will then take the Byers Back Track to head back towards the town.
The track has a couple of steep sections but overall is not too challenging and is a showcase of the Lerderderg River's gold mining past. There are all manner of mines, mullock heaps and water races as well as a couple of mineral springs, and even a small lake.Following the hike we will try the local hotel for a late lunch (Optional)

Total Elevation Gain: 245m
Distance: 13 km
Meeting Point: (Red Hill Village Car Park) at 159 Shoreham Road, Red Hill South
Please contact Host via comments belowA great winter hike starting at the Red Hill Rail trail at the back of the Red Hill Village shops at Red Hill South. Overall it takes about 3hours to complete. With an initial gentle descent with scenic views of Western Port while passing vineyards, pine trees and Eucalypt forests along the way. The trail has a steep section going up of about 50metres, but otherwise a steady 2km gradient going down near the end. Please stay aware of other trail users as we share the path with horse riders and mountain bikers. Dogs are welcome, but they need to stay on a leash for their safety and the safety of other trail users.
IF THE WEATHER FORECAST IS BAD, THE WALK WILL BE CANCELLED. WE WILL GIVE YOU AS MUCH NOTICE AS POSSIBLE. PLEASE CHECK THE APP, IN THE LEAD UP TO THE EVENT.
