Welcome to Pride Adventures (Victoria)!
We organise a variety of LGBTQ+ friendly activities and trips for members to connect, have fun, and make new friends.
The idea is simply to provide our community (and friends) a welcoming platform to meet like minded people in a relaxed environment whilst having the opportunity to enjoy the best of what Victoria offers.
Most activities are centred around my love of bushwalking and just getting out into the wonderful outdoors, but we will be hosting general social events and are always open to suggestions.
Events will cater for people of varying fitness levels from those that just want to enjoy a gentle social walk to those that want to combine the social aspect with building their fitness levels and taking on a challenge!

What's the cost ?
Events are free unless there are entry fees or other expenses that require payment.
Is transport provided ?
Those attending events will be required to arrange their own transport to the meeting point.
We are always keen where possible for those with transport to offer a ride to others in order to do our bit for the environment but also give those without transport the opportunity to attend events. (to allow for this we use a simple carpooling website - just follow the link on the event description)
Why am I on the waitlist for an event?
In the interest of safety and in some cases to minimise the impact on the environment, hike leaders will often nominate an attendee limit for the event. If the limit has been reached, you're still welcome to join the waitlist and simply keep checking to see if a space has become free.
What if I can’t come to an event anymore?
Please change your RSVP to ‘Not going’ even if you’re currently on the waitlist.
A no-show policy applies to all events, so if you’re a confirmed attendee but can no longer come, please contact the hike leader as early as possible to avoid being marked as a no-show. (3 no shows and you will not be able to attend future event in fairness to all those in the group)
Event: Social Boat Trip

We did this trip last year and it really was a brilliant experience and though not cheap we all fount it to be great value for money.
So I have booked the boat again for this as a private charter for 12 of us.
The Plan In Summary: (please read in full before responding).
Join us for a great day trip to PortArlington , explore the coastline and township then hop onboard a fully refurbished 40-year-old vessel for a luxurious and unique coastal experience.
Explore, taste and sip, while cruising on the glistening waters of Port Philip Bay, surrounded by sights of the You Yangs, the Melbourne city skyline and more.
A unique experience limited to 12 people ,so be quick to secure your spot.
TICKET COST - based on 12 people attending will be $330 per person and will include:
- A Three hour boat tour on the bay on their beautiful vessel (Departing 12:30pm from Portarlington harbour)
- Meet the mussel farmer with a front row seat to the farming process
- Collect your own mussels to be cooked by the crew
- Enjoy local Bellarine produce platters to enjoy while on board
- Enjoy wines or beers matched with each dish
- Cooking demonstrations and tastings of delicious mussel recipes
- Try local native oysters
- Tea / Coffee & Dessert and non alcoholic drinks unlimited
- (not including ferry tickets from Melbourne)
NOTE : To secure your spot a prepayment via PayID prior to August 31st is a must.
Tickets are not refundable unless the charter is cancelled. (you can transfer your spot to another person if you can not attend for any reason).
We can take the ferry together from Docklands (70 mins) or you have the option of a 90 minute drive from Melbourne.
If you are taking the ferry you will need to book the 10:40am ferry from Docklands arriving into Portarlington at 11:50am.(use link below)

Another wonderful option is to make a weekend of it and enjoy some of the sights in the area including the historic town of Queenscliff.

Note: This hike is a point to point hike so will require a car shuffle at the meeting point.This is a brilliant costal walk that will make the most of the low tides on this day.
Join us as we hike along some of the Mornington Peninsula's best beaches and explore the amazing rock pools and beautiful sandstone cliffs and rock formations.
We will first meet at the Gunnamatta car park and then get cosy in half of the cars and head to the starting point at Bush Rangers Bay Car Park .From there we will start the walk down to Bushrangers Bay and explore Elephant rocks and the beautiful rock pools.
Then we head to Cape Schanck and take the broad walk down to Pulpit Rock and Black Rock Beach before heading to Fingal Beach via the cliff top track.This area again is wonderful at low tide with some beautiful view points before we get down to more great rock pools .
Then its a easy walk back to Gunnamatta beach and to the cars.Generally an easy relaxed hike, though will include a beach walking and a couple of short but sharp climbs . However with the outgoing tide the sand will be compact and easy to walk on.
NOTE: Your feet will get wet ! so water shoes or trail shoes with water proof socks are a must to fully enjoy this hike.
