Group Basic Information
Welcome to the Prime-Time Knit Wits of Vancouver WA! We are a group of women who live in SW Washington and love to get together to share successes and failures, tips and patterns, and everything yarn related. We support each other's efforts at all times.
Please read the Rules for Membership below, post a PHOTO that conforms to specs below, and click "JOIN*"!* Then check our calendar and plan to attend an event soon so we can meet you! Meetup's event page will show you how to reserved a spot, and other details about attending.

RULES FOR MEMBERS:

  1. Annual Dues: All members pay an annual membership fee of $15.00. Joining before January is a total of 1.25 a month as one payment. Then annual dues begin in January. The membership fee is non-refundable, funds our events, and reimburses the Organizer for charges by Meetup.
  2. Your Photo:  Your photo must be at least 50% FACE! Post a close-up photo of JUST YOU on your profile page in which you are clearly recognizable. No dogs, family, etc. This is required for event safety, and it helps members connect names to faces. Just think how nice it is when someone recognizes you when you come to a meeting!
  3. Membership Requirements: Members must live within 25 miles of Vancouver WA. This requirement reflects the local nature of our group. Attending live, in-person meetings is the purpose of this group. Members will participate in group events to meet other members, share skills, projects, and create a warm social circle. Members may be any age, and any level of competence in knit and crochet. This group was developed by women for women.
  4. Facebook Group: We have a Prime Time Knit Wits group. You must be a member to join. If you're a member, click to join, membership is checked, and then the group membership is approved. It's a great place to post knitting memes, sharing your finished projects, and how it's going with you.
  5. Consider turning on Meetup Messages to stay up to date. See the "How to video" below.
