# Dating & Relationship Advice for Men
Two principles. More options. Better outcomes.
Dating and relationships can become unnecessarily complicated.
This group starts with two simple principles:
1. Improve your desirability.
2. Don’t be foolish.
That is the framework.
Improve the qualities that make you a more attractive, capable and desirable man — and learn to recognise the decisions, behaviours and situations that can unnecessarily damage your dating life, relationships, reputation or future.
Within those two constraints, you have far more freedom to decide what you actually want.
That might be:
Sex • Dating • Romance • Relationship(s) • A committed relationship • Marriage and children
The group is not built around telling every man that there is one correct way to live.
Different men want different things.
The aim is to help you understand your options, make better decisions and increase your chances of getting the outcomes you actually want.
## What we will talk about
Meetings may explore topics such as attraction, confidence, appearance, fitness, communication, flirting, dating apps, approaching women, first dates, sexual relationships, boundaries, rejection, relationship dynamics, choosing a partner, commitment, marriage, fatherhood and recovering from relationship mistakes.
We will also talk about the less glamorous side of dating advice: recognising warning signs, avoiding unnecessary drama, protecting yourself from bad decisions, thinking about consequences and knowing when to walk away.
Sometimes the smartest dating advice is not about what to do.
It is about what not to do.
## The two questions
A lot of our conversations will come back to two questions:
How can I become more desirable?
and
Am I being foolish?
Those two questions can provide a surprisingly useful framework for thinking about almost every stage of dating and relationships.
## What kind of group is this?
This is a discussion and coaching-style group for men who want to become better at dating and relationships.
You do not have to agree with everyone.
You do not have to have the same relationship goals as everyone else.
The aim is intelligent, open and respectful discussion — including honest discussion about attraction, sex, male and female behaviour, relationships and the consequences of the choices we make.
Bring questions.
Bring experiences.
Bring situations you are trying to understand.
And be prepared to examine your own decisions as well as everybody else's.
## Group standard
We can discuss difficult or controversial subjects without becoming hostile or disrespectful.
Women are not the enemy.
Men are not automatically the victim.
Nobody is entitled to sex, affection or a relationship.
Attraction cannot be demanded, and another person's boundaries and consent must always be respected.
The objective is not resentment.
The objective is to become more capable, more desirable and more difficult to fool — including by yourself.
