About us
Dating and relationships can be confusing, frustrating and sometimes painful.
You may be trying to meet someone, struggling with dating apps, wondering why things keep going wrong, dealing with rejection, trying to understand women better, or working out how to build and maintain a healthy relationship.
This group is a place for men to talk openly and practically about dating, relationships and the challenges that come with them.
We will explore topics such as:
- Meeting women and getting dates
- Dating apps and online dating
- Confidence and social skills
- Attraction and chemistry
- Starting conversations
- Knowing when someone is interested
- Rejection and disappointment
- Communication in relationships
- Boundaries and self-respect
- Sex, intimacy and emotional connection
- Conflict and relationship problems
- Break-ups and moving on
- Loneliness and being single
- Choosing the right partner
- Becoming a better boyfriend, partner or husband
The aim is not to teach tricks, manipulation or pickup techniques.
The aim is to help men understand dating and relationships better, make wiser choices, communicate more effectively and build relationships that are enjoyable, respectful and healthy.
Meetups will include open discussion, practical ideas and opportunities to talk about real situations you may be dealing with.
You do not need to be in a relationship to attend. You might be single, dating, recently separated, in a long-term relationship or simply interested in understanding dating and relationships better.
You are welcome to listen, contribute, ask questions and share your own experiences.
Men of all ages and levels of experience are welcome.
## A respectful space
People will have different experiences, beliefs and opinions about dating and relationships. Members are expected to disagree respectfully and to treat other people with dignity.
Harassment, manipulation, hostility toward women or other members, and deliberately disrespectful behaviour are not welcome.
Please also respect the privacy of other members. Personal stories shared within the group should not be repeated outside the group in a way that identifies the person involved.
## Important note
This group is for general discussion, education and peer support. It is not a substitute for professional counselling, psychotherapy, medical advice, legal advice or other professional services.
The ideas discussed in the group are not instructions about what you should do in your own relationships. Every situation is different, and members remain responsible for their own decisions, actions and behaviour.
If you are experiencing abuse, violence, serious emotional distress or another situation where you or somebody else may be at risk, please seek appropriate professional or emergency support.
If you would like better dating experiences, healthier relationships and a better understanding of yourself and the people you date, you are very welcome to join us.
