Sparks to Spanish Springs
Details
This ride begins at the Sparks Marina. We collect at 10:45 for a 11:00am start. I have changed this ride after testing the new course I dreamed up. I still like the course but the ride shows that the Nevada Dept of Transportation is turning the bottom half mile of Highland parkway into cone man paradise, even today before whatever they are planning there were cones that were in the bike path. In Addition, the bike lanes on the side of North Virginia are full of gravel and they still have barrels in the same places as a year ago. So forget it. I revert to another ride.
This ride heads to Spanish Springs and has a couple climbs:
Climb #1 Gino Martini, Vincinnato, and Veccio
2.6 miles 715 feet
Climb #2 Belmar
0.8 miles, 235 feet
Climb #3 Wingfield Hills
0.7 miles, 137 feet
Climb #4 Lacerta, Desert Fox, Orange Plains
1.7 miles, 300 feet
This route has changed.
