Product Managers wear many hats...and is likely the most cross-disciplinary person on a team. The knowledge needed to be a great PM is quite vast, so we want to build a community for Product Managers in LA to connect, share, and learn...from peers and from experts.
Startups have unique needs, and Product Managers at startups need distinct skills to be effective...versus PM at larger organizations. A simple example, when you're Hulu, the strategy for getting press coverage for a product launch is a lot different than for a Startup. This community focuses around Product Management strategies for tech Startups.
